Ability to mention or call the attention of the person currently in rotation

Some of my automated processes produce messages that should be addressed by whoever is the person in rotation. It would be nice to produce a mention to them somehow, with the assistance of @RoundRobin.
One approach I have in mind is that, if @RoundRobin is mentioned in a message, it replies as thread mentioning the user currently in rotation. Might get tricky when RoundRobin is managing various rotations (case at my work).
